I have those shake-em-up hand warmers in pretty much every pocket of every article of hunting clothes I have. I’m actually suprised sometimes where I find them! I’ve found them in every duffle bag and backpack in the house as well, it sucks to get cold…

I have a wanderlust spirit and relish hiking through the national forests while hunting, so I never leave camp without a paper printout of a MyTopo map and my compass. Topo maps not only help me get where I want to go, but also, help me see the big picture of the habitat and reveal easy routes back to camp—things GPS’s fall short on.

I carry a GPS, rangefinder and flagging tape plus most of the other items.
