Talk about taking a break from book studies! Students at Washington State U. can take part in the first “Women that Rock” program, where students learn climbing skills that they can take outdoors later. One student’s goal, in this article by Rachel Webber at The Daily Evergreen, was to “focus on upside-down climbing routes.” The Outdoor Rec Center also offers climbing classes for men only.
