Girls go to the head of the class in NSSF essay competition

A majority of young women won in the essay contest sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Voting Members Scholarship Program. The students competed for $1,000 scholarships and wrote about topics regarding the importance of hunting, shooting sports and the firearms industry.

What’d she do on her summer vacation? Why, Babbs went up high to conquer her fear of heights. At first she thought of it like a 40-foot-tall tree stand to climb, but then, the high ropes’ course stretched out in front of her, and she’d have to cross it in order to exit via the zipline.
