I stepped out on my back deck this morning, my mind filled with memories of things I am thankful for. As my eyes swept across the rolling hills, timber and lake on our farm, I was thinking I would make a list of all of them for you. But it would take up way too much space, and I would probably still leave something out.
So I thought I would sum it all up: I am most thankful for the 2nd Amendment, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, for this is the root of what has enabled me to have all of the other memories. This privilege affords us the right to protect our family and loved ones. The rest of the freedoms this allows is just icing on the cake.
I hope and pray that you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. And I hope and pray for the safe return home of our troops to their families. I am extremely grateful for their service to this beautiful country we call AMERICA!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Amen and beautiful photo!
Tammy – day late and dollar short as always LOL but YOU are one of the things that I am so very thankful for. You have the special ability to restore my faith in all things when it bottoms out – and amen to the right to keep and bear arms.. unless you live here in IL – I swear the reason to move across the river to your side just grows longer each day!
What a pretty, inspiring photo. Happy Thanksgiving, Tammy and family!
