Tennessee to offer November Beyond Bow Women’s muzzleloader workshop

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is offering a Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) muzzleloader workshop from Nov. 9 through Nov. 11 at a private farm in Humphreys County. The workshop will be on first-come, first-served registration basis, with first-time participants being afforded a “two-week” priority on

their applications. Women 18 and older, who hold the appropriate Sportsman License or Type 01 or 011 licenses, are eligible to participate. Women born after Jan. 1, 1969, also will need to have completed Hunter Safety education successfully.

The cost of $175 includes meals and camping. A list of nearby motels will be provided along with registration materials, in case participants prefer this type of lodging. Loaner muzzleloaders will be available, and time on the range is included in the schedule. Time in a tree stand factors heavily, as this is a hunting weekend.
