The workshop is designed for anyone 18 and older to learn the outdoor skills usually associated with hunting and fishing, but useful in a variety of outdoor pursuits. Participants can choose their activities from a list that includes hiking, canoeing, kayaking, firearm safety, fishing, bow fishing, GPS, camping, rifle shooting, shotgun shooting, hunting, photography and dog selection and training.

Organizers say, “This workshop is for you if: you have never tried these activities but have hoped for an opportunity to learn, you are a beginner who hopes to improve your skills, you would like to try your hand at some new activities and if you are looking for the camaraderie of like-minded individuals.”

Cost including meals and lodging is $225. To find more information or to register online, visit NebraskaBOW.com, or call Peggy Kapeller at 402-471-5482.
