Becoming an Outdoors-Woman waterfowl-hunting workshop offered in Bismarck

This annual women’s-only, mentored waterfowl hunt is sponsored by the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Program and Delta Waterfowl; it is for those ladies wishing to begin waterfowl hunting. Participants are instructed in firearm and waterfowling safety, shotgun shooting, waterfowl identification, water/field decoys and gear and the techniques for decoying and calling waterfowl. Participants must possess a hunter education certificate, current hunting licenses and provide their own hunting clothing, rubber boots or waders. Date: October 5-6, 2013. Cost for the hunt is $20.

Cancellation Deadline: If you cancel before September 19, you will receive a full refund. After that date, a $10 processing fee will be deducted from your refund. Registrants who do not attend and who do not cancel will be assessed the full program fee. You may send a substitute.

Lodging: No lodging is available for the Waterfowl Hunting Workshop. Please make hotel reservations as desired.

Upon Receipt of your registration and payment, you will be sent a confirmation with a map of the location of the workshop and a list of appropriate clothing. All course equipment will be provided by the instructors unless otherwise noted in the course description.
