Line of Silver Logo Jewelry and Belt Buckles Launches on Black Friday

RED BLUFF, CALIFORNIA – NOV. 26, 2013 – Girls with Guns Clothing (GWG) and Montana Silversmiths have partnered to offer a line of logo jewelry, key chains and belt buckles. Jen Adams and Norissa Harman, proprietors of GWG, represent the type of vibrant outdoor women that Montana Silversmiths seeks in order to highlight the Western spirit.

The extensive network that GWG has built through social media paid off in connecting the two companies. GWG fans who work at Montana Silversmiths contacted Adams and Harman last November, and suggested that they get acquainted with a company representative. In September, Harman and Adams traveled to Montana to meet with the designers and the team at Montana Silversmiths. They participated in a photo shoot, where Montana Silversmiths’ Director of Marketing Judy Wagner presented them with specially engraved belt buckles. “It was very touching because I felt like we were welcomed into their family,” said Adams.

“It was a mutual admiration among women with passion,” said Wagner. “Montana Silversmiths is proud to be the brand of champions crafting World Champion buckles for many differing associations, as well as a multitude of other buckles and products for other great brands. Montana Silversmiths creates unique and authentic creations in silver artistry and sets standard for excellence.”

She continued, “A partnership with GWG has both fit and leverage. Fit: Product story consumers will accept and stretch-ability to grow into new markets. Leverage: Because both brands have distinctive assets that provide a competitive advantage to the brand extension in its new category.”

Montana Silversmiths holds a special place in Adams’ heart. While growing up in northern California, Adams competed in rodeos and earned more than 50 Montana Silversmith buckles. “As a young teenager, Montana Silversmith jewelry and belt buckles were very popular and that hasn’t changed,” she said.

“To this day I have my first piece of Montana Silversmith jewelry. My boyfriend, who is now my husband, bought a ring with my initial on it from our local feed store,” added Harman.

The GWG line from Montana Silversmiths will be available at the GWG website, and at the Reno/Sparks (Nevada) Scheels, the largest store in the chain. The first store to carry GWG products, the Reno/Sparks Scheels will be the only physical location offering the new silver line until January. “The line will be available for Black Friday sales,” said Harman.

In 2014, look for more products from GWG and Montana Silversmiths, tailored to the outdoors woman who hunts.
