North Carolina Becoming an Outdoors-Woman offers gift certificates for Valentine’s Day

RALEIGH, N.C. — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is offering Becoming an Outdoors-Woman gift certificates that are perfect for the female outdoors enthusiast or would-be adventurer for Valentine’s Day.

“If she wants, she can learn to shoot a bow better than Cupid,” said BB Gillen, director of the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program in North Carolina.

The gift certificate entitles the recipient to attend the three-day 2014 BOW weekend workshop, scheduled for April 11-13 at Eastern 4-H Center, located in Tyrrell County on the Albemarle Sound. Activities include expert instruction in boating, archery, fishing, target shooting, as well as outdoor cooking and more.
