Reader Bryan (#56) wins a pair of Frontier Compact binoculars from Hawke Sport Optics

Hawke Sport Optics is giving away a pair of 8×25 Frontier Compact binoculars to one of The WON’s lucky readers. You know, the same binoculars that our managing editor Britney used and reviewed during turkey season. She keeps the Frontiers in her turkey-hunting vest, right next to her turkey calls.

    I would use them hunting!

  • Sharon Starr says: February 7, 2014 at 3:55 am

I would use them with the awesome Britney Starr! I haven’t been able to turkey hunt with her in a few years because of work and I am sooo looking forward to it this year. She has passed me up in the turkey shooting count and I am planning my return. These would give me the same advantage she will have and somehow I think I can bribe her Dad to sit closer to me because he is the master of the turkey call. You would think being the giver of life I would get some advantage hunting in this family but not when you are “Hunting with the Starr’s”. Maybe these are exactly what I need to help the cause!!!!!

These would be perfect for my youngest son to use on our shed hunting trips this spring.

  • Sarah says: February 6, 2014 at 10:38 pm

I would give them to a dear friend, who would love to have a pair of these binoculars. He would use them both for hunting and his job as a Law Enforcement officer. Also, for everyday life, out enjoying nature.

  • Alyssa Anne says: February 6, 2014 at 9:14 pm

I would use them nearly everyday. My son just broke my old pair. We live on the shore and use them for watching birds, boats and for duck hunting… Please please please.

I would use the binoculars to keep an eye on my property .

  • Robin says: February 6, 2014 at 2:55 pm

I would use them at the far end of a five acre food plot first. Coyotes are doing a lot of damage to the deer population. Turkey season opens in late April and I’d use them there next.

I would use them to see all the wild animals in my backyard. Since there are 13+ deer that hang out in my yard every single day and other animals and birds galore! Sure, I cannot use my arms, but someone can hold them to me. Plus my dad loves sitting in front of the window watching the wildlife and his binoculars. Coincidentally broke recently I think it’s fate

  • Kelly McBride says: February 3, 2014 at 12:20 pm

I would use them while hunting, animal watching, camping ,boating and finally be able to see exactly what’s going on at those bonfire parties the neighbors are always having in their backyard on the weekends…. for fire safety reasons of course

I would use them mostly for hunting, but I would have them in my truck because it seems you always need a pair sooner or later to check something out.

  • Ellen says: February 3, 2014 at 10:14 am

I would use them for turkey hunting this spring in KS, deer hunting in the fall and possibly a aoudad hunt next year.

  • Raymond Buckner says: February 3, 2014 at 9:09 am

I would like to win these as a gift for my mother. She has really gotten into hunting more the past few years and had great success. The one thing that is missing from her arsenal is a good pair of optics. She has been busted by some good deer due to trying to move her gun around to look at different deer. Thanks for the opportunity and good luck to everyone!

At the range, for hunting. I’m a new hunter so it would be nice to have my own gear. Thank you!
