Mia Anstine joins editorial ranks at The WON

Avid outdoorswoman and freelance writer to manage social media

Rolla, MO – April 17, 2014 –Women’s Outdoor News (The WON) is pleased to announce that Mia Anstine, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., is the new social media editor for the only online publication that features news, reviews and stories about women who are shooting, hunting, fishing and leading lives of outdoor adventure. Anstine will post social media updates at The WON’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts – following and highlighting this all-female correspondent/columnist/photographer team.

mia anstineAnstine is a hunting guide for and co-owner of Wolf Creek Outfitters, Inc. She spends nearly 150 days per year in the field, hunting, fishing and shooting. She also is a certified archery and firearms instructor, and sits on the board of her local Safari Club International chapter, as well as on the Colorado Sportsman’s Round-Table committee.

Anstine pens the column “Mia & the Little Gal,” sponsored by Girls with Guns Clothing, at The WON. Her bylines also appear at Beretta USA and Western Whitetail magazine. She is on staff with Próis Hunting and Field Apparel, HerCamoShop.com and TenPoint Crossbows.
