Portland, Ore. – Oct. 22, 2014 – Michelle Whitney Bodenheimer will be swapping jobs this week with hosts of Portland’s popular country music morning show, The Morning Bullride, airing on 98.7 The Bull- KUPL.
Howie Drummond, Monica Lunsford and Jake Byron make up the team on “The Morning Bullride.”
Michelle pens Her Gear, an in depth outdoor gear review column appearing monthly at the popular ezine, Women’s Outdoor News, that features news, reviews and stories about women who are hunting, fishing, shooting and leading adventuresome outdoors lives. This Wednesday, Oct. 22, deejays Howie Drummond, Monica Lunsford and Jake Byron will join Michelle in the field to help test equipment to be included in Michelle’s upcoming columns.
Following the field test, on Thursday, Oct. 23, between 8 and 9 a.m. (PDT), Michelle will join the three hosts in studio on air. The show will stream live and can be listened to online.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to share my passion for the outdoors with some of my favorite radio personalities. It is likely that several of the items we have planned to review will end up in my annual holiday gift gear guide at The WON. I hope the deejays can handle the pressure,”Michelle laughingly commented of the planned adventure. “I am equally excited for the opportunity to be in studio and learn the ins-and-outs of radio show production. This will be a wonderful experience all the way around.”
