Our friends at Outdoors Women blog features registered nurse and farmer Jen Godfrey recently, who lives in North Carolina.
When asked, “The famous question … what do you think women bring to the outdoors that is making a difference?” she replied,
Let’s face it … it’s a movement.
Just the pure sense that a woman is strong and can do things herself. It’s just now in the recent years been brought to mainstream, or “cool.”Personally, I have helped with ‘Make A Wish’ fishing trips and the young girls feel more comfortable with me than my buddies. To me, that’s a sign that I have a purpose in the outdoors.
