my husband and I just got married on the 6th and we both love to be active outdoors. We’ve even made sure to schedule in a fishing expedition in the Bahamas during on honeymoon (which we go on in the morning). We would love to win these, but more importantly to wish the happy couple many years of love and honesty and happiness.

Congrats and best wishes for a long and happy life together. My wife and I just celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversery, and its because of more hunting couples like you two is how I’ve gotten her, her first bow and getting her interested and excited to go bow hunting with just me and her. Again Congrats and Best Wishes. (And no matter what remember, she’s always right and,”…yes dear…” can go a long way !!! LOL )

    Congratulations to you both.

Its all about trust and respect each others time apart.
Support each others choices and ideas, regardless of
if you totally agree or not. It is give and take and is a
50/50 path you must walk together.
    Communication is key…
Wish you two the best and good luck in growing old together!

On my 25th year of marriage….

  • Amelia Bower says: June 13, 2015 at 8:32 am

Marriage is not 50-50. It is 100-100. You both have to give 100% to make it work. That was the advice our preacher gave us the night before the wedding and I have found it to be true. It helps to have something you enjoy doing together, like hunting! I love to hunt with my hubby! I also enjoy hunting by myself 😉

  • Kayla Doan says: June 12, 2015 at 8:21 pm

To stay happy while hunting and fishing? My advice would be, teamwork.

  • Savannah says: June 12, 2015 at 8:21 pm

    Congrats on the wedding!!
Me and my fiancé hunt, fish, archery, everything, and enjoy doing it together! When you finally find the perfect partner it makes it so much more fun!
Love love love these sweaters by the way!

  • Desiree Szymczak says: June 12, 2015 at 7:51 pm

Me and my fiance fish together and he is a hunter and wants me to get my courses done so I can hunt with him. I think as long as you have common interests and understand the necessities for the activities that it really helps. Sometimes you significant other can be the best partner you have for these kinds of outings.

  • Amy Dale says: June 12, 2015 at 7:40 pm

Congratulations!! I’m excited for you to join the Wedded Bliss Club! My husband and I just married in October after 12 1/2 years! It actually is different! We LOVE it!! Happiness and Blessings!

  • stewart sudler says: June 12, 2015 at 7:32 pm

How to remain happily married and still get to hunt and fish. Either do it together and enjoy it…or…let the other go and do what they enjoy independently, without judgement. In return they should grant you the same courtesy to do what you enjoy.

  • Susan Lathrop says: June 12, 2015 at 7:17 pm

My husband and I both hunt and fish. We also have a two year old. So we take turns going out if we need to. It is fun hunting together but just as much fun hunting alone.

Always support one another on their hunt!!
Those who hunt together stay together. 😉

Enjoy your married life together y’all will be just fine.

  • Mandi Shamblin says: June 12, 2015 at 5:06 pm

Always be thankful even if it’s just because you can be in the outdoors together.

  • Mary Becker says: June 12, 2015 at 5:03 pm

Enjoy the time together and don’t make anything a competition!

  • Samantha Malone says: June 12, 2015 at 4:55 pm

Congratulations! Y’all seem so happy together (I follow Eva on all social media-she’s my idol!) The best way to stay happy is let the other shoot the bigger deer once in a while. It is always fun being out there with your loved one and bragging about who shoots the best/kills more animals/kills the biggest animal but the greatest gift you can give, is giving up that trophy deer for your loved one.

  • Bethany Shippy says: June 12, 2015 at 4:30 pm

Hunt and fish is different states, lol. Going fishing with the husband is like fishing with a game warden.

  • Suzanne King says: June 9, 2015 at 10:10 pm

My advice for the newlyweds on how to stay happy while while hunting or fishing together is to bring matches to start a fire.

  • Sarah Wizner says: June 9, 2015 at 10:04 pm

  • Hannah says: June 8, 2015 at 1:01 pm

Congratulations on your marriage. Even in the rough patches, if you can just remember to laugh, love will follow and lead the way. Never take life to seriously because its full of ups and downs and time takes care of both. Congrats!

  • Angeleah Adcock says: June 8, 2015 at 11:42 am

I wish you all the happiness in the world as you begin your lives together. You’ve already enjoyed fishing and hunting together so the best advice I can give is keep doing what you’re doing! Never fight about petty things, ALWAYS date each other, and learn to love the things the other one loves (within reason). We as fans usually don’t get to see the bad and ugly side of a relationship. Stay true to each other and continue to be the best role models you can be. Also, place God at the head of your marriage triangle. You guys will grow closer as husband and wife when you grow closer to Him. Love you both and can’t wait to continue following your lives together as Mr. and Mrs.!

  • Linda Huffman says: June 8, 2015 at 10:15 am

Happy nuptials to Eva and Tim. You already look like you enjoy each other hunting or not. I believe having her mom and dad still together and for all appearances, still happy, an amazing model to follow. Congratulations!

  • Jessica Palmer says: June 8, 2015 at 9:52 am

Never argue, shoot or hook one another!!
