Rolla, MO – Jan. 14, 2016 – It’s the biggest trade show in the outdoor industry and several members of TeamWON will be in attendance at the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT) in Las Vegas from Jan. 18 to Jan. 22. Not only will columnists from Women’s Outdoor News (The WON) search for new products to highlight, but also several of these writers will be participating in Media Day on the Range, followed by booth appearances, seminars and special events.
Watch our social media outlets for “picks of the day” from TeamWON. Mia Anstine, Lea Leggit, Michelle Cerino and Barbara Baird will be on the floor, perusing goods available and bringing you updates on what they see that they want to use this year. We’re referencing guns, gear, apparel and even small weird things. Ask us questions about the gear and we’ll let you know what we think.
Every day after the show, Mia Anstine and Lea Leggitt will highlight some of the goods and events of the day, and maybe even a few surprise guests will stop by for the video, which will be posted shortly after. If we can go live with a broadcast, we will do that, too.

Smith and Wesson’s Team Captain Julie Golob will be here, there and everywhere during the show. This is her 10th year with Smith & Wesson, so it’s a very special time for her. Check out her schedule and also, follow Julie on her many social media channels.
Stacy Bright is going to attend the show, do social media for The Well Armed Woman and be on the lookout for topics for her column “Armed and In Charge.”
Our new columnist, Becky Lou Lacock, will also be in the house … videoing and interviewing her way through the aisles.
Our publisher, Barbara Baird, will be moderating a SHOT Show Retailer Seminar: “Merchandising to Women Hunters,” held on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT at The Venetian Hotel & Casino – Lando Ballroom, Room 4302. The panel features all-star women hunters who will discuss marketing initiatives and specific needs of women hunters. The panel includes Tiffany Lakosky, co-host of Outdoor Channel’s Crush with Lee & Tiffany; Melissa Bachman, host of Sportsman Channel TV show Winchester Deadly Passion; Shannon Reaser, co-host of The Outdoor Option; Judy Rhodes, founder of the DIVA Women Outdoors Worldwide and TeamWON contributer. Finally, the whole team will come together in a women’s event, the first inaugural Meet & Mingle, held on Thurs., Jan. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Bonnier Sportsmen’s Lounge. All women at SHOT are invited to attend this event, and to drop in and drop off their business cards for a future directory.
