Paige Eissinger married into an outdoors family. Karl and Lou raised their kids to fish, hunt and to love the land that Rick, who grew up to become Paige’s husband, named Sunnyside Farm after a Felix the Cat comic book. Karl Eissinger passed away on November 29, 2009. He’d just turned 84. In her column at The WON, Associate Editor Paige Eissinger pays tribute to her dad-in-law.
