After my last experience in Illinois on a carp-infested river full of flyers, I am thinking about going with protection this time. I’ve included some of the options in this post.

This one was too tight, but I liked the face protection. You could still get slimed, though.

Team WON will be heading to Illinois for a carp eradication adventure, and we’re inviting you to follow us on our adventure. For starters, we will be the Kaskaskia River, followed by an evening of dodging the flyers – flying Asian carp. You know, the kind that smack-women-and-children-off-jet-skis and break jaws types of flyers.

I’ll be joined by Gretchen Steele, Jody Narantic, Stacey Huston and our own Paige Eissinger. When some of our sponsors and friends in the outdoors heard that we’d be endeavoring to get out there and get slimed by carp this weekend, they contributed some sweet gifts for us to give away. We’ve combined our forces and are offering a $500 gift package.

<div
