Babbs has hit the field dressing nail on the head! My peers made fun of me regarding my purchase from Sportsmans Guide of this unique tool called, “The Buttout” a few years ago.
But this device is a gift from the gods! Each hunting buddy I have shared this blaze orange plastic miracle with has ate his/her words and acknowledged the usefulness of the tool.
The latest version I have, (since I have given my others away or they were stolen from my cleaning kit), has a round “stop plate” for lack of better between the working end and the handle.
It is a righteous tool and should be added to ever deer hunter’s bag of field dressing equipment.
