Are you planning to get firearms training in 2010?

As hunters, shooting enthusiasts and gun owners, we here at The WON are serious about our gun rights. We believe that with those rights come responsibilities and one of the most important is to make sure we know how to use our firearms in the appropriate situations. Are we hunting? Are we shooting at a target? Are we prepared to protect our homes?

Ed Stone of the Atlanta Gun Rights Examiner made a list of New Years gun rights resolutions, one of which is to take formal instruction.  We encourage you to take the time and read Ed’s post about why he feels formal instruction is important for gun owners.  While you’re there, check out Ed’s other gun rights resolutions for 2010.

Ed Stone is the President of GeorgiaCarry.Org, the most active voice for restoring the right to bear arms in Georgia. He is a practicing construction law attorney in Atlanta, Georgia, a former police officer and a military veteran.
