Casting for Recovery honored by The American Museum of Fly Fishing

We’re very proud to announce that The American Museum of Fly Fishing has named Casting for Recovery as the recipient of their 2010 Heritage Award.

The Museum, whose mission is to collect, interpret, and preserve the history of fly-fishing, established this award in 1997. The award is bestowed upon an individual or organization that, through fly-fishing, has made a difference in peoples’ lives. Casting for Recovery is being recognized for our efforts in helping breast cancer survivors move forward to hope and healing through the power of our volunteers and inspired by the message of “human conservation” that Casting for Recovery’s mission embraces.

The award and benefit dinner will take place on April 29, 2010 at the Yale Club in New York City.  You can help celebrate this award and CFR’s fourteen-year history through a special Voices program. I encourage you to review the details below.
Sincerely,

Lori Simon, Executive Director
