RedZone™ Alert: Laura Francese appearance at Leupold®’s NRA Show booth

BEAVERTON, Ore. – NRA members will have the opportunity to meet Laura Francese, star of the forthcoming “Redfield® RedZone” TV mini-show, in the Leupold® booth on Saturday, May 15, at the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits, Charlotte, N.C.

Francese, a professional archer and passionate deer hunter, is set to appear in the booth from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Leupold’s booth number is 927.

“Redfield RedZone” will feature Francese in the field with Redfield optics, and offer tips for both rifle and bow hunters.  The show premieres this fall on ESPN 2.

Francese is widely recognized in archery circles as the “Martin Girl,” and has won several state and national 3D tournaments in the hunter class.  She is also a cheerleader for a National Football League (NFL) team, the Buffalo Bills.

Acquired by Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in 2008, Redfield is now a brand of the Oregon-based company.  The Redfield line includes Revolution riflescopes, Rebel roof prism and Renegade Porro prism binoculars, Rampage spotting scope kits, and Raider rangefinders.  The Redfield Gun Sight Company was founded in 1909 by John Hill Redfield.  Over the years, Redfield became one of the leading American manufacturers of sports optics, known for the performance, ruggedness and reliability of its products.  The new Redfield line upholds that tradition, and is available to hunters, shooters, wildlife observers and other outdoor enthusiasts worldwide in 2010.
