Meet Meghann K. Morrill (San Antonio, Texas), a member of the National Rifle Team and aspiring lawyer studying at the University of Virginia School of Law. Morrill finished eighth overall at the World Shooting Championship in Women’s 10m Air Rifle. With an outstanding score of 398/400 points, Morrill shot a personal best for qualification. In her first International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) final, Morrill battled nerves and pressure to shoot a 100.1 point final. In conjunction with veterans Emily Caruso and Jamie Beyerle, Morrill’s shooting helped the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team secure the bronze medal—the first Women’s 10m Air Rifle team medal for the USA since 1990.
