Win up to $1,000 through NRA’s Youth Second Amendment Essay Contest

What does the Second Amendment mean to you, and why is it important? If you’re a high school, junior high, or even an elementary school student, your answer could win you up to $1,000 in Savings Bonds.

Each year, the NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund (NRACRDF) sponsors an essay contest focused on the Second Amendment and its role as an integral part of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The theme for the essay is “The Second Amendment to the Constitution: Why it is important to our nation.”

The contest is open to all students enrolled, or who will be enrolled, in an elementary, junior high or high school during the 2011-2012 academic year, or homeschooled students in an equivalent grade level.

See more details for the contest at NRA Blog.
