Becoming an Outdoors-Woman to host snowshoeing workshop in Nebraska on Jan. 7

LINCOLN, Neb. — Women age 18 and older are invited to participate in a Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman snowshoeing workshop.

 

Women of all experience levels are invited to the Jan. 7 workshop at Platte River State Park. Participants will receive instruction before snowshoeing around the park in the afternoon, then again in the evening.

 

A $20 registration fee includes an evening meal. Cabin lodging is $26. Participants must bring their own snowshoes, and each vehicle must have a park entry permit. Fees are due Dec. 30.
