GunGoddess giveaway includes Diva sleeve and designer tee

Athena Means, proprietor of GunGoddess.com, suspects that you didn’t get everything you wanted for Valentine’s Day, did you? So, here she is with two great giveaway prizes for two randomly chosen winner who answer this question:

Imagine you have a little old gun bucket list. What’s next on the list to acquire? And why?

Oh, and do you want to know what you’ll get if you win?

embossed leather sleeve.jpg

The embossed stingray sleeve, in a shimmery gold and black tiger stripe/spot pattern. Maybe you'd like that one?

The first place winner gets a GunGoddess Diva sleeve for her gun. Crafted of genuine cowhide leather, made in different patterns and colors — such as turquoise, lavender and ostrich red — and lined with suede. You pick from the pack at GunGoddess. Or, design your own. Choose the leather, trim, bling and voila!, a customized sleeve.

Phoenix Firepower lady's tee.

The next winner will receive an original GunGoddess tee of her choice — either long or short sleeved. Athena works with a designer to get the image from the right side of her brain to the shirt, and we think you’re going to love the class and chicness of this line.

Check out all the collections of tees, sleeves, jewelry and other shooting-related items — for women, men and children — at GunGoddess.com.

The deadline will be Monday, Feb. 27, at midnight.

Imagine you have a little old gun bucket list. What’s next on the list to acquire? And why?

An AR-15 custom built by my hubby with air brushed pink flames down it!
(it’s not midnight in Alaska) πŸ™‚

A customized AR 15 and a concealed carry purse for my new Ruger LC9!

  • Not Afraid says: February 27, 2012 at 6:20 pm

I got my first handgun for Christmas (S&W Sigma, 9mm) and I’m now working on getting a smaller gun, one for concealed carry. I’d love for it to be pretty in pink, but I know the guys I work with (and the ladies too) would laugh themselves silly. To them, this gun business is ALL about function. So, I will go with a standard color, all the easier to conceal, my dears! What I really want is bling for my range bag (Hubby: You want a PINK range bag? Me: Yes! Hubby: Ok, here ya go!). I want it covered with patches…the first one will say “You can’t scare me, I kicked breast cancer’s ass!” and the rest will say “I shoot for [insert grandchildrens’ names]. Hubby has an extensive collection of long guns, so I don’t need or want one…I think I’m gonna be the handgun freak in this house!

I just bought myself the Kriss Super V for Christmas. My first purchase since I purchased my SIG 9mm, my first handgun, in 1994. I love my SIG and so does my son. I’d like to hand down my SIG 9mm to him as his first handgun and get the SIG P224 for myself. I truly cannot imagine owning anything other than a SIG pistol. Accurate, Safe, and after 19 years still in perfect condition!

  • Jessica Jacobsen says: February 27, 2012 at 11:25 am

I just got a sig for christmas, that I love. My next gun I want would be a rifle for hunting, still trying to decide exactly what I want.

  • Chriss Adams says: February 27, 2012 at 10:47 am

The next gun on my list is the SpringField Armory XD -45 Sub Compact if I can find one! I also want a shoulder holster for my Springfield Armory XD-9 Sub-Compact.

  • Tracy Perkins says: February 27, 2012 at 10:38 am

I’d like to get a Sig 229 to shoot for fun. Or a 308 for hunting!
I’d be delighted to get either. : )

  • akgrrrl says: February 27, 2012 at 10:20 am

A .45 semi auto and an AR

  • Naomi says: February 27, 2012 at 10:14 am

I’d love an old 1911, one of the originals. I like antiques and it seems fitting to get an original.

  • Julia says: February 27, 2012 at 10:13 am

I’m looking at a baby glock for my new home. After that, a Kimber.

  • Marty Phillips says: February 27, 2012 at 8:52 am

The next gun on my wish list is a SIG P238 Lady. My husband bought one last year and I love how it handles! Great gun πŸ™‚

  • Misty West says: February 27, 2012 at 8:41 am

My next wishlist item is a draw between an AR-15 kit or a long rifle. Why? I want to build a gun on my own and why not an AR? I want to compete so I need the long rifle. I also need a more attractive range bang that I did not get for Valentine’s Day!

  • Elena V says: February 26, 2012 at 2:43 am

I’d like a Glock 27! The right size for my hands πŸ˜€

  • chantal says: February 22, 2012 at 5:13 pm

Next on my list is Ruger SR9c I will have my concealed carry permit soon and it seems like a great choice & the Stingray sleeve would be a great compliment for it!!! πŸ˜€

  • Jackie Young says: February 22, 2012 at 12:16 pm

I have a Mossberg MVP on my list. I may need another gun safe, but that’s a good thing! My husband is very good at painting firearms, so the MVP would become pink and have some stenciling on it. I really like skulls, so maybe skulls with sparkling eyes! There’s always the 1911, but that’s on everyone’s list, isn’t it??

  • Sherry Clark says: February 22, 2012 at 11:39 am

The next gun from my bucket list will most likely be a SIG also, but the P232. I recently got my cc… now need the gun to go with it. Mine all all to big. Unless of course I find something else that works better for my cc. But I’m thinking the SIG.

  • Kim W. says: February 22, 2012 at 10:18 am

Either a built 10/22 or a 20g. I want a super light weight rifle but built to last. I am really thinking of going girly for the shotty. Heh. Husband says the next buy is mine so I am thrilled.

  • Athena Means says: February 21, 2012 at 5:26 pm

These are so much fun to read! Thank you for participating, ladies, and good luck! I realize I wont be in the drawing πŸ™‚ but I had to share too… the Sig P238 with rainbow finish & redwood grips is so pretty! It’s definitely on my list. But my next gun will be a rifle, one that’s just MINE! Build or buy, not sure yet, but leaning towards a Daniel Defense V7 lightweight. Still thinking about the fun part – how to bling it! Some silver, some gold, maybe some dusty rose…

I would love to find the .32 that my Nana carried, at the beginning of the 20th century, to protect herself on the streets as a young teenager new to America. It was sold many years before I was born, but as I look back thru my ancestry and see who the pistol toters were and who enjoyed competitive shooting, that is the lineage that I apparently follow! My Nana was a strong, hardworking, talented and God-fearing woman who made a better life for herself and her family, and I guess I am quite a bit like her; but guns aren’t handed down to the girls in my family; so I would really love to have her old pistol because it was hers and because we’re very alike after all.

I can’t wait to get my own 20 gauge. Tired of borrowing other peoples. I also want the Flashbang Betty.

  • Diane Hassinger says: February 20, 2012 at 10:48 pm

I have my next gun ordered, just waiting to get my hands on it; a Savage Lady Hunter Rifle in 30-06.

  • Kit Lear says: February 20, 2012 at 10:43 pm

I very much need another generation 2 Glock 17. I use one now for USPSA and would love to have a backup for it! The Gen2s fit my hand so much better than the Gen3s because there are no finger grooves. Now if I could just get some snazzy colored grip tape to customize them a bit!

  • Nicole says: February 20, 2012 at 10:42 pm

Hmm.. there are so many I want!! I think my next one I want to be kind of girly. Would love to have the Walther P-22 Hope Edition. I already have a Glock 31 and a Taurus PT 111 9mm so this would be a nice edition. πŸ™‚ Along with the several others hubby has.. I must catch up to him!!

  • Karrie Gooding says: February 20, 2012 at 10:08 pm

My next gun is going to be a Kimber 1911, all decked out! I’ve been wanting one for a while, just waiting for uncle sam to send me back my tax money!

  • Stephanie B says: February 20, 2012 at 8:56 pm

Wanting a Glock 27…blinged out in pink… Hoping to get it for my 26th wedding anniversary in April :o) We will see!!

  • jaclyn says: February 20, 2012 at 8:52 pm

I would like a 243 for cyotee hunting. It does not have too be pint

  • Shari says: February 20, 2012 at 8:32 pm

Next on my list is something small and concealable on my petite frame. Comfortable to shoot and minimum a 9mm (better a .45). Is that asking too much?

  • Yvonne says: February 20, 2012 at 8:31 pm

The new SigP238 – coming out late spring… Blued body, High polished silver engraved slide with pink hogue style grips… Because you can never have enough pink guns. (And it’s tons of fun to see the guys laugh when you take it out at the range, then wince when they see how well you can shoot it)

  • Teresa Jewell says: February 20, 2012 at 7:35 pm

Next on my list is a Walther P22 with black and white splatter camo. It will be number 12 in my collection of P22s.

  • Dawn Gribb says: February 20, 2012 at 7:26 pm

Next on my list is a Benelli M2 12 ga, camo stock. A girl can’t have enough shotguns!

Next on my list is a CZ 75 P-01 Phantom.

  • Hillevi says: February 20, 2012 at 6:33 pm

Next on my list are a few more mags for my EAA and a couple of range bags – 1 for shooting and 1 for when I am on RO.

  • Cher says: February 20, 2012 at 5:49 pm

My kinda bling goes boom. What I really, really want . . . an early model Smith and Wesson top break revolver with the condition that it be safely functional. I know, I know . . . fat chance of that. They are hard to come by and stupid expensive if you actually want it to function without blowing up in your hand . . . a girl can dream can’t she?

  • Stephanie C. says: February 20, 2012 at 5:40 pm

Next on my list is a black & pink AR-15 at my local gun shop. I held it and it just felt SO right! I loved it!

  • Elise says: February 20, 2012 at 5:04 pm

A few things on my list. A hand bag that has a spot for my carry weapon. Having a hard time finding just the one I want, mainly because I hate carrying a large hand bag or a shoulder bag. Also would love to have the Ruger LCP .380 in raspberry, just because it’s such a girlie color and I love it!

  • Dana Barnett says: February 20, 2012 at 4:44 pm

I think the next gun on my bucket list is the new Ruger American rifle. I’m not sure what caliber I want, though. I need a new deer rifle and saw a video review of this gun from SHOT Show & immediately proceeded to add it to my wish list. πŸ™‚
