Becoming an Outdoors-Woman California to hold multi-course workshop at new location in Oct.

The “Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, California” organization has scheduled its popular multi-course workshop for October 12-14 at a new location – Camp Cazadero. Camp Cazadero is located northwest of Santa Rosa in the rolling hills north of the Russian River in Sonoma County. The site is on 1,000 acres of open meadow and has redwoods, madrones, firs and oak trees. It is a beautiful setting to learn basic outdoor skills and receive hands-on training and experience in several outdoor activities. It is unparalleled in providing peace and beauty in addition to outstanding meals and workshop facilities.

This workshop includes instruction in archery, bow hunting, fly fishing, fly tying, map and compass GPS, outdoor/Dutch oven cooking, shotgun shooting, wilderness first aid, camping and backpacking, kayaking, Yoga, hiking poles and more. Workshop instructors are certified in their field and include professional biologists, hunters, anglers, and other outdoors enthusiasts; all who specialize in providing exceptional training for women.

Application deadline for the workshop is September 30th. The workshop fee is $325. The workshop registration fee covers all instruction, equipment, and supplies (except a fishing license required for open water fishing), three days and two nights lodging, seven fabulous sit-down meals, two evening programs and entertainment, raffles, merchandise and more.
