Casting for Recovery’s ‘Voice of Courage’ an uplifting promotional tool

Rolla, Mo. — (Women’s Outdoor News) — Since 1996, Casting for Recovery, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, has served more than 5,000 breast cancer survivors with the help of a volunteer organization greater than 1,500. By offering retreats that include counseling and educational services combined with fly-fishing opportunities,  Casting for Recovery aids in healing women who have battled or who are battling breast cancer.

At the beginning of the summer, Casting for Recovery released a public service video that features vocalist Megon McDonough, singing “If I Were Brave, “a song written by Jana Stanfield.

Supported by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations, Casting for Recovery’s premier national sponsor, The Hartford, is joined by other sponsors, namely  L.L.Bean, Under Armour®, SmartWool, and Sisters on the Fly. You may donate, too, at Casting for Recovery.
