Each teen participant was teamed up with an experienced female angler and volunteer boat captain who offered mentoring and instruction while on the water. Over 50 volunteers attended to lend time and expertise towards the tournament. Awards were presented to the teen girls who reeled in the smallest fish, most fish, biggest fish and most unusual catch.

Event sponsors included America Marine Management, Bassfisherwomen.com, Fox & Rabbit Websites and Marketing, Freedom Boat Club, Chrome Capital and Fishidy. South Bend Sporting Goods also donated Bright Pink® rod and reel combos for each of the teens to take home following the event.
