Sara Rozanski leads Team Remington to victory at 2014 Western CMP Games and Creedmoor Cup

Madison, NC – In the final major high-power rifle competition this competitive season, Team Remington shooters were recently awarded Overall Team and Match Rifle champions at the 2014 Western Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Games and Creedmoor Cup matches held at Ben Avery Shooting Range in Phoenix, Arizona on October 14-19, 2014.

In the Team Championship, Team Remington won the overall and match rifle category with a winning score of 1945-56x.

Hendricks, Joseph Sr, score: 490-14X

Hempelmann, Fritz, score: 486-11X

Saabye, Eric,score: 474-9X

Team Captain and Coach, Ken Roxburgh

Total Team Score: 1945-56x

 

After firing the high overall score in the team match competition, veteran Team Remington high-power service rifle competitor, Sara Rozanski, crushed the overall competition in both the service and match rifle categories to win the overall individual championship by a staggering 19 points with a winning score of 2366-83x.

“Sara continues to make huge contributions to NRA and CMP shooting sports by demonstrating and communicating her knowledge of high-power and long range marksmanship and by training others in her expertise of range operations, procedures, rules and regulations governing the sport,” said Ken Roxburgh, Team Coach and Captain. “She is a clear master of individual and team competitive shooting and an outstanding ambassador of high-power rifle competition-in-arms programs.”
