Matlacha Hookers to Host Fundraiser Fishing Tournament in Florida

Find out what happens when more than 300 women who like to fish get together to host a fundraiser in a fishing tournament, held in Florida.
The Matlacha Hookers are proud to host the 17th annual Pine Island Elementary Fishing Tournament & Derby​ on Oct. 11 at the Olde’ Fish House Marine in Matlacha, Fla., to benefit the Pine Island Elementary School.

The Matlacha Hookers, is a 501c3 charitable organization in our local area. We have over 300 women from the Greater Pine Island area as well as Cape Coral, North Ft Myers and Ft Myers, FL. who are very active. This fundraiser will have an adult fishing Tourney with $2500 in prize money. We will have a Kids Derby with awards and trophies. There will be live music all day; auctions; raffles; fish dinner; free kids activities and games.
