KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Team Smith & Wesson Captain Julie Golob joins host Natalie Foster for the Nationals Rifle Association’s Women’s Network web series Love at First Shot as an expert trainer. In each episode Golob works with an experienced gun owner paired with a novice shooter for their first shots experienced together.

Each Love at First Shot episode showcases a unique way on how to make a new shooter’s first shots a positive one and Golob is excited for the premier.

“What I love most about this season of Love at First Shot is that it not only empowers new shooters, it also serves as a resource for those who have experience with firearms. Each episode offers technique, tips and perspective for different firearm platforms,” said Golob.

With numerous world and national titles to her credit, combined with her expertise as a firearms instructor, Golob has designed fun and unique range sessions for each couple. From rifles, to handguns, to shotguns, each show features shooters who have their own personal goals with firearms.

Golob adds that, “Everyone’s firearm journey is different, from busting that first clay target to taking aim with a rifle or handgun. I hope the show inspires not only potential new shooters, but also current gun owners to share their passion for shooting.”

Season 2 of Love at First Shot, sponsored by Smith & Wesson, debuts on the newly designed NRANews.com on September 17 and is designed to help introduce people to the shooting sports in a fun, safe and memorable way in an effort to shift perspectives and grow the shooting community.
