Remington Outdoor Company to Expand Arkansas Ammo Facility

Thurs., Jan. 21, 2016 — Today at the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trades Show (SHOT) , Gov. Asa Hutchinson showed up at Remington’s booth to join Remington CEO Jim Marcotuli for the announcement that Remington will be expanding its Lonoke, Ark., facility. Within a year, there should be more than 80 new jobs and 15 million dollars investment. Remington predicts that most of the new employees will come from the local area and Arkansas is making use of its training program assist new employees.

According to Forbes magazine, Arkansas is the third friendliest state for the firearms industry, and they are working toward being number one.
