The Share the Experience Photo contest is a special opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to share their love of parks, beautiful views, unique finds, and hidden treasures of America’s national parks. The contest is hosted in partnership with six participating federal agencies, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Recreation.gov.
The 2018 Share the Experience photo contest was hosted by the National Park Foundation, received thousands of photos from amateur photographers across the country, sharing their favorite views, moments, and adventures from America’s national parks and public lands. See all the 2018 winning images.
The 2017 Share the Experience photo contest was hosted by the National Park Foundation, received over 16,500 photos from amateur photographers sharing their favorite views, moments, and adventures from America’s national parks and public lands. See all the 2017 winning images.
The 2016 photo contest, hosted by National Park Foundation and ACTIVE Network® and prizing courtesy of Celestron and Historic Hotels of America, received over 16,500 photos from amateur photographers sharing their favorite views, moments, and adventures from America’s national parks and public lands. The 2015 photo contest, hosted by National Park Foundation, ACTIVE Network®, and Celestron, received over 15,000 photos from amateur photographers sharing their favorite views, moments, and adventures from America’s national parks and public lands. See all the 2015 winning images.
2014’s contest was sponsored by the National Park Foundation, ACTIVE Network and Celestron in partnership with the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Forest Service, with prizing including Celestron product and hotel packages courtesy of Historic Hotels of America.
