Future Fisherman Foundation launches mentor recognition program

Most of us have fond memories of parents, grandparents, teachers and family friends who took time to share the joys of fishing when we were young. And with Father’s Day just around the corner, this is a great occasion to send a special “thank you” to someone whose guidance led you to become an angler. The fact is any time is a good time to say “Thanks!” to your fishing mentors—birthdays, holidays, any days. And now the Future Fisherman Foundation can help you make it so.

When you make a donation of $25 or more, the Foundation will send a beautiful certificate to anyone you designate, telling them you’ve made a contribution in their name to ensure the future of fishing. It’s a great way to say thanks while supporting important Future Fisherman Foundation programs such as Hooked On Fishing—Not On Drugs, Physh Ed and the Boys & Girls Club’s C.A.T.C.H. program. Your donation will help create memories for children nationwide who might not otherwise experience the joys of fishing. And all of us realize how important those memories can be.

The Future Fisherman Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your donation is tax deductible. Your contribution will go directly toward providing valuable opportunities for children to learn how to fish and enjoy the outdoors.

Donors also receive recognition for different levels of giving:

Friend of Fishing ($25-$250): Receive a certificate of appreciation, an F3 decal and all Foundation email newsletters.

Hooked On Fishing ($250-$1,000): Earn a place on our website’s Partners page, in our online newsletter and mention in our press releases. Receive an F3 decal and certificate of thanks.

Avid Angler ($1,000-$5,000): Receive special recognition through online and written promotions, the F3 newsletter and a special plaque of appreciation.

Elite Anglers ($5,000+); Receive a plaque of appreciation, the F3 newsletter, and online presence and written promotion showing your support of youth angling and aquatic conservation.

To recognize your fishing mentor, mail your donation – along with your contact information, the name and address of the person you want to recognize, and the occasion on which you want to recognize them, to:
