'Shoot Like A Girl' tournament benefits breast cancer research

St. Joseph, Mo., hosted a first-ever archery tournament benefiting breast cancer education and research on Sat., Oct. 23, 2010. Vickey and Wayne Marler, proprietors of Vic’s Archery in downtown St. Joe, welcomed 50 archers through their doors. The archers took aim at breast cancer ribbons on targets and raised about $1,000. Kudos to small-town efforts that promote women in the outdoors and raise money for a good cause, too. See http://www.newspressnow.com/news/2010/oct/25/shoot-girl-holds-tourney/?local
