NRA to 'court' women at annual meetings & exhibits in Pittsburgh

According to National Rifle Association spokeswoman Rachel Parsons, the national convention, held from April 29 through May 1 in Pittsburgh, will appeal to women. With more exhibitors offering gear and fitted outdoor apparel, and with a special instructor class for women who want to become pistol instructors who teach women, the convention appears armed and ready at the firing line. Parsons says there has been a push for the past decade to bring more women into the shooting sports and recreational shooting arenas. Jill King Greenwood covers this topic in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review here.
