Students are expected to become familiar with different types of guns, techniques of stance and how to mount a gun. Students will also view a variety of trap positions and clay speeds and sizes and try shooting targets.

Students should bring their own 12- or 20-gauge shotgun, over-and-under or semi-automatic, as well as eye and ear protection. Loaner guns, shells, and eye and ear protection will also be provided on site.

The “Women’s Intro to Sporting Clays” classes are sponsored by the Greene County commissioners, Hunting Hills and Friends of the National Rifle Association.
