BEAVERTON, OR — Team Leupold, led by Jessie Duff’s third consecutive women’s title, continued their mastery of the Bianchi Cup, held May 21-24 at the Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club.
In a replay of last year’s Bianchi Cup match, it came down to the wire between Duff and her Leupold teammate Tiffany Piper. Duff edged out Piper by two points to keep her title streak going. This marks the fifth Bianchi Cup for Duff overall and her third straight title.
“Jessie and Tiffany once again showed they are the ones to beat in Bianchi Cup competition,” said Rob Morrison, Leupold & Stevens, Inc., vice president of marketing. “Paired with the dominating force that is Doug Koenig, and we expect to see Leupold atop the standings for a long time to come. We could not be more proud of all three of these competitors.”
In the Colt Speed Shooting event, held the day after the Bianchi Cup wraps, it was a case of déjà vu as it once again came down to Duff and Piper for the women’s title, with Duff again taking the victory by the narrowest of margins.
Team Leupold’s Doug Koenig dominated the men’s division of the Colt Speed Shooting event. Prior to that, Koenig took the second spot at the Bianchi Cup, winning the Practical event in the process.
