The guest of Honor and speaker for this years Fish Camp is Hannah Stonehouse Hudson. Hannah rose to stardom after photographing a moment between John and Shep, a man and his elderly German Shepard dog who were standing in Lake Superior. The photo went viral and was seen around the world. Those in the fishing community know Hannah as the wife of the now deceased Jim Hudson, who was a well known fishing guide on Lake Superior before tragically losing his life in a fall through the ice. Hannah brings a great presentation on photography as well as dealing with loss, all with a element of humor.

This year skill building sessions will be shared between members including, fly tying, reel maintenance, trolling with Off Shore planer boards, choosing the right fishing line,  knots to know, drift fishing and many others. The event will feature a boat parade of the Moen Chain of Lakes to feature various fishing area’s.

The weekend  concludes with a casual fishing tournament and the WI Women Fish annual awards ceremony. The event is sponsored by Jerry’s Sport Service, Lund Boats,   Off Shore Tackle, Badger Sportsman, St Croix Rods, Lake Fork Trophy Lures, Dorn Hardware, Matzuo, Huskey Guide Service, Coots Lures, Baitmate, Black Otter Lures, Reel North LLC – Guiding Your Next Flyventure and others. Sponsorship information can be obtained via email at icefishher@gmail.com.
