Próis® Hunting & Field Apparel Names Top 6 Competitors for Annual Award

WON writer Christine Cunningham makes the cut

Próis® Hunting & Field Apparel not only takes pride in ‘not being one of the guys’, the company thrives on celebrating the most dedicated female hunters around the globe.  It’s why the company sent out a clarion call to the industry once again to seek out this year’s most dedicated female hunter – the annual Prois Award.  The Prois Award is awarded to one amazing female hunter who exhibits not only a passion for the hunt, but also a passion for conservation and community education.  With over 60 entries, our panel of celebrity judges has whittled the field down to the top 6 finalists.

“We were blown away once again this year by the entries we received from such extraordinary female hunters who demonstrate a passion so deep for hunting, it’s more than a sport – it’s a lifestyle,” said Kirstie Pike, President and CEO of Próis Hunting & Field Apparel. “We are thrilled with the top six finalists and look forward to the next phase of the contest”.

The 2014 Prois Award Finalists are Christine Cunningham, Cindy Krug, Colleeen Richardson, Donna McDonald, Jessica Sigel and Marissa Futral.  The judging was extremely tough this year as the field of contestants was exceptional.

A panel of industry expert judges reviewed submitted essays and photos and scored them according to a detailed scoring matrix.  Those with the top six scores advance on as finalists.

So what is the next step in the Prois Award Contest?  Each finalist will be asked to submit a brief video in which she addresses a series of questions created by the Prois Award Judges and Sponsors.  Once all videos are received, final judging will be done by the judges and sponsors.  The winner of the 2014 Prois Award will be announced December 15th, 2014.
