The prestigious, back-to-back national championships provided a unique opportunity for Team Smith & Wesson members to showcase their proficiency with both pistols and revolvers. Utilizing Smith & Wesson Performance Center® firearms, Team Smith & Wesson members outpaced a field of the industry’s top competitive shooters.

Leading Team Smith & Wesson members was this year’s Revolver National Champion and 1st Master Aggregate Champion David Olhasso. Competing with a Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 627, Olhasso won four out of the 14 stages of fire. In the Single Stack Nationals, Olhasso opted to use a Smith & Wesson 1911, finishing the match in 19th place. Olhasso’s combined performance in both events earned him the top spot as aggregate champion. With his first place finish in the Revolver Nationals, Olhasso has now earned national titles in USPSA, Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) and International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) matches as well as world titles in SCSA and International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts
(ICORE) events – – all while using Smith & Wesson branded firearms.

For the women, Annette Aysen

Randi Rogers
competed in this year’s Revolver Nationals using a Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 627. Aysen’s accuracy put her at the head of the women’s field and she finished the match with a final score of 67.99%. This win marks Aysen’s seventh High Lady Title at the USPA Revolver Nationals. Also competing in this year’s Revolver Nationals was first time participant Randi Rogers. Rogers competed with a Smith & Wesson Performance Center 929 and despite her limited experience in revolver-based competitions earned the 2nd Lady title providing the team with a one-two finish.
