The Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club Teams with World-Famous Orvis to Host Fly-Fishing Events in the UK

We’re delighted to have teamed up with Orvis on some fantastic introduction to fly fishing events.

This excellent event offers a broad understanding of fly fishing, practical casting on water and fly tying in a fun and sociable S&CBC style!shotgun-chelsea-bun-club-logo

The day will start at the Orvis store, where their wonderful experts will be on hand for a friendly welcome.

You’ll be guided through the basics of fly fishing, clothing and equipment. We’ll then head off to the water for the fun part; learning how to cast. We’ll spend a good hour or so going through technique of casting and you’ll be coached by some of the finest in the business!

Once we’re all done on the water, it’s back to the store for a hands on, practical fly tying class, where you’ll get stuck in and learn about knots, tying and flies. We’ll then be supplying a crummy lunch and you’ll have the opportunity to quiz the Orvis experts, find out what you need to know and hopefully finish the day with a big smile and a great understanding of fishing!
