TruckVault Congratulates Pro Staff Member Kim Rhode and Introduces ‘Quick Shots’ Videos

SEDRO WOOLLEY, Wash. (May 26, 2016) – TruckVault-sponsored shooter and member of the USA Shooting Team Kim Rhode, has once again qualified for Women’s Skeet in the Olympic Games. Rhode finished the qualifying event in Tillar, Arkansas, besting her nearest competitor by 16 points. As part of Rhode’s success and in honor of the 2016 Olympic games, TruckVault is kicking off a series of shooting tip videos called “Quick Shots” hosted by the Olympic gold medalist.

Rhode returns to the summer games as a five-time Olympic medalist and is the defending gold medal winner for Women’s Skeet at the London games. She is the first U.S. Olympian to win medals at five consecutive Olympic Games in an individual sportand will be the first U.S. Olympian to compete on five different continents. Her career has not been easy and Rhode attributes practicing proper shooting techniques as a key to her success.

“This has been a challenging road to Rio and it has taken a lot of work on the range to qualify,” said Rhode. “Competing at such a high level requires consistency and proper technique. I practice simple shooting principles every time I train and they have allowed me to score well against world-class athletes.”
Whether an amateur or seasoned vet, shooters can learn from Rhode’s success as an Olympic shooter. TruckVault will release a series of videos highlighting Rhode’s shotgun shooting techniques. Look for them on TruckVault’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages as well as their YouTube channel. TruckVault is proud to stand behind Rhode as she represents her sponsors, shooting sports and the United States of America.
“TruckVault congratulates Rhode as she heads to Rio de Janeiro to compete for the United States,” said TruckVault Director of Marketing Don Fenton. “We are proud to support her on this journey and are excited to share her shooting techniques with her fans.”
TruckVault partnered with Rhode in 2013 as she started her journey towards her sixth Olympic medal. In 2008, Rhode’s prized competition shotgun was stolen from the backseat of her vehicle. TruckVault provided her the perfect secure, lockable solution to protect her valuable shotguns.
