#WomenMakingWaves: How to Become a Wave Maker

Help us share the #WomenMakingWaves mission to get more women involved in fishing. Every month, one lucky wave maker winner will receive a prize!

Wave Maker #WomenMakingWaves

Some people think all anglers look alike. Have they got another thing coming. More women than ever — nearly 18 million of us — are taking the water by storm. But even though we’re casting our lines in record-breaking numbers, women are still underrepresented in the fishing industry. That’s why we’re inviting our sisters to help us start the tides of change.

We’re encouraging all female anglers to get on the water and create their next fishing and boating adventure with their families, kids, and friends.

Wave Makers is a women-powered social media movement to increase our visibility in the fishing community. To help our members spread the word, we have social resources ready-made. Or, you can even share your own story through original content.

As a thank you to our members, anyone who signs up is automatically entered into our Making Waves sweepstakes. It’s free to join, and it’s open to women of all kinds and from all walks of life. Together, we can start a new wave in fishing.
