Webinar: Understanding Youth Mental Health and Preventing Unauthorized Access to Firearms

Join Project ChildSafe on July 14 at 1 p.m. EDT for a webinar, “Understanding Youth Mental Health and Preventing Unauthorized Access to Firearms. The discussion will help parents of teens recognize signs that their children may be struggling with their mental health and offer advice on how to talk to kids about self-harm, make homes safer for those who may be at-risk and help reduce the risk of suicide among teens.

NSSF® President and CEO Joe Bartozzi will moderate a discussion with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)’s Vice President for Mission Engagement Dr. Doreen Marshall, and George Washington University Associate Professor Dr. Sherry Molock. The conversation largely builds on the subject matter contained in the Parents Resources Project ChildSafe developed in partnership with AFSP last year.
