Have you ever come home to find a random box on your front porch and you didn’t remember ordering anything from Amazon? After putting my ear close to the box, confirming there was no ticking sound, I excitedly carried it inside. Like a kid on Christmas morning I quickly tore open the box. Inside, I found another box with these words: Alexo Athletica X Springfield Armory.

Although I knew a partnership with these two companies was in the works, I had no idea what to expect. At this point I took my time opening the package … I wish I would have recorded it. I felt like one of the Tik Tok people doing an unboxing. Inside, I found numerous pieces of clothing. How did they fit that much in the box? It was like a clown car. As I removed each piece there was another one below it.

What’s in the Box
Like I mentioned above, I knew both companies were working together on a project. However, I had no idea how much I would love this line of ready wear. The quality is topnotch and I really like the soft fabric of the shirts.
Concealed Carry Design
Alexo Athletica X Springfield Armory’s pants have a patent-pending Tuck and Carry design. This makes it possible to carry essentials in the waistband and tuck in your shirt. The pockets are designed for either right and left appendix or kidney carry. I am currently carrying an unloaded firearm right now until I decide which pocket I want to carry in and have time to practice my draw. (My loaded firearm is off-body.)
Note the following from Alexo Athletica’s website and on the label in the pants:
“Never wear this garment without proper trigger guard protection. Firearm must be stored in the space with the thick elastic band closest to your skin and NOT in the front V shaped pocket. Carry pockets accommodate firearms weighing 23 oz. loaded or less. Please note it is the responsibility of the user to choose adequate trigger protection. Leggings do not come with built in trigger guards but provide versatile pocket space and support to hold different tools and Kydex trigger guards of your choice.”
In my package, I also received a DeSantis Flextech Pocket Holster. (MSRP: $29). Available on the website, this holster grips to the inside of the pocket, offering trigger protection for your firearm.
Springfield Terry CC Lounge Pant
If you like comfy, flowing pants, you’re going to love the Terry CC Lounge Pant (MRSP: $79). Plus, aside from all the storage in the waist band, there are three good-sized pockets. Who doesn’t love pockets? As for sizing, I usually wear a 12 and my pants are an XL. Springfield Terry CC Lounge Pants are available in sizes XS to 2XL. More information on sizing is available on the chart at the website. The current colors available are black, navy and olive.
Springfield Crossed Cannons Scoop Sports Bra
The only time I wear a sports bra is when I go to yoga classes. I’m impressed at the quality of the Springfield Crossed Cannons Scoop Sports Bra. (I don’t usually spend very much money on mine.) The pads in the cups are a thick fabric and easy to remove through the opening on the side for washing (MSRP: $49). Available colors are black, hex camo and Springfield red.
Springfield Ladies Performance Jacket
First, I must admit I have a weird obsession with shirts that have thumbholes and pockets. The Springfield Ladies Performance Jacket has both, including outside zippered pockets on the sides and lower back. I also like the added reflective details around the shoulders in both the front and back. It’s very unobtrusive, yet important when walking on a dark street like mine (MSRP: $99). Available in black, hex camo and Springfield red.
Springfield Full-Length CC Legging
The high compression Springfield Full-Length CC Legging offer the same storage in the waistband as the lounge pant, but with a completely different feel and look. After wearing them all day, even to yoga, they still held their shape and didn’t stretch out (MSRP $99). Available in black, navy and Springfield red.
Springfield Flowy Long Sleeve Camo Tee
This is seriously one of the softest tees I’ve ever felt. The Springfield Flowy Long Sleeve Camo Tee‘s cut and camo pattern definitely mitigate the chance of printing (MSRP: $29).
As for care of the garments, it is recommended to machine wash cold, inside out, with like fabrics and colors and lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach.
