The Civilian Marksmanship Program, a national organization dedicated to training and educating U.S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and air guns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions, announces the appointment of Christine Elder to the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Christine will report to Fabian Lobera, Chief Operating Officer, effective June 15.
“We are pleased to promote Christine from within the organization. With more than 26 years of experience at CMP, including several years as Communications Manager, she brings the leadership, work ethic and expertise needed to strengthen our brand, expand our sales and marketing efforts and support the continued growth of the CMP community,” said Lobera.
Christine joins a team of five Officers leading the CMP.
“I am honored by the opportunity to continue growing with CMP and to help elevate awareness of the organization’s mission, programs and lasting impact,” said Elder. “CMP has played a meaningful role in my professional journey, and I am proud to step into this position at a time of continued growth.”
