I’ve written previously about the joys of carrying a diaper bag that has room for everything AND the kitchen sink. But what happens when your baby outgrows the need during an outing for multiple diaper and outfit changes, various toy and distraction options, tons of snacks, etc.? The Lady Conceal Daisy Leather Backpack offers a compact solution for a modern diaper bag.
Now that I have three children, ranging in age from 14 months to 5-years old, my needs in a diaper bag have changed. Lugging around a large purse now feels cumbersome, as I am usually balancing a squirming toddler on my hip and wrangling my 4- and 5-year old children simultaneously. A small backpack allows me to be handsfree, but still carry the necessary kid equipment. A tote bag or basket in the car holding the overflow (extra big kid outfits, sweatshirts, baby diapers, etc.) is the key to allowing me the freedom to carry a small, yet fabulous, diaper backpack.
Lady Conceal offers many backpacks and slings, but I was immediately drawn to the Daisy Leather Backpack because of its gorgeous stitching detail. This bag offers a variety of pockets, zip pockets and flaps – and it is also a concealed carry bag. I ordered the colorway “cognac,” as it really shows off the distressed leather finish. The depth of this color is even more apparent in person.
The Lady Conceal website even offers a gun size chart for each of its bags, so that you can find the right bag to fit your concealed carry pistol. The Daisy Leather Backpack will fit up to a small frame handgun.
This beautiful backpack measures 9.5″ L x 12.5″ H x 5″ D. This is the perfect size to fit nicely in the center of my back, without getting snagged on items around my person. Below are a few of the features that stand out to me most about this bag:
For a typical day outing or errand into town, I pack the following items into my diaper backpack:
Lady Conceal’s Daisy Leather Backpack, in the colorway cognac, is mother approved. A quick Google search shows the bag’s price point to be in-line with competitors’ genuine leather diaper backpacks, but this bag’s styling is unrivaled. I’ve been wearing my new diaper bag nonstop this spring, and am thrilled by it’s perfect blend of form and function. All while allowing me the freedom to move around with my children, not bogged-down by a diaper bag. MSRP $195.95
