According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, in 2010, Texas alone issued more than 22,000 Conceal Carry Handgun licenses to women. While women are increasingly interested in owning and carrying handguns, they still want comfort and pampering. Now women can enjoy a pampered weekend of Gourmet-Tex food and drink, and a complete range of spa services, gently combined with handgun instruction. It all takes place in the comfort of Dry Hollow Ranch, a new boutique hunting and Get Away lodge located near Junction, Texas. A Get Away for four to eight girlfriends, Botox and Bullets Weekend’s include the instruction required for women to obtain their Texas Conceal Carry Handgun license, taught in the Living Room of the lodge by Dry Hollow’s in-house state-licensed instructor, Kathy Dietert. The live fire part of the course will be on site at Dry Hollow’s private shooting range. Dry Hollow Ranch has partnered with Bella Luz Medical Spa of Kerrville, TX, and will be providing treatments on location, in the comfort of the new lodge, ranging from Botox to fillers, spa facials, massages, manicures and pedicures, waxing, and most other services as offered in-office by Bella Luz. Gourmet Texas meals and adult beverages, hand gun instruction, spa services, and a memorable weekend with four to eight girlfriends are all included with the weekend package. The Botox and Bullets Get Away is the first of Dry Hollow Ranch’s series of themed “Just For Girls” weekends. Dry Hollow Ranch is a boutique hunting and Get Away ranch located in south central Texas, 95 miles NW of San Antonio, Texas.
