Hi Michelle!! Happy Thanksgiving
I have had CCWSafe’s “Ultimate Plan” since 2020 that covers both my wife and I. We thankfully haven’t had to use it, but in CT they WILL try to prosecute you to the fullest for daring to defend yourself, and even after being found not guilty and bankrupted by legal fees, they then let the family of the person you wounded or killed while defending your life sue you into oblivion. As someone that carries 7/24/365 I have to protect myself financially as well, and $500 a year is totally worth it.
If I remember right, CCWSafe is the only such service that has beaten the legal system against a client that was charged with 1st Degree Murder by overzealous prosecutors for acting in self defense. I would carry this plan even if I wasn’t trapped behind enemy lines in CT.
